Hike the Atlantic Coastline NEW!
Departing the cruise ship dock, we travel through historic Halifax on our drive to the small fishing port/village of Prospect; a community in many ways similar to Peggy's Cove, but without the crowds. Your hiking route is an out and back course (this is a hike, not a walk or stroll) that will take you along the rugged, rocky Atlantic coastline of Nova Scotia.
During your hike you will discover how the glaciers of the last ice age carved, shaped, and scooped out the shoreline, aided in no small part by the Atlantic Ocean itself. Please bring your camera, as you'll definitely want to take pictures of the amazing views! If you like to fish, bring your rod, and your guide, Greg, will help you in selecting"the best spot" to fish; no license needed. Snacks and bottled water will be provided. Each hiker will be presented with their own engraved "Johnny Nick's Hiking Stick " made from Nova Scotia's white birch. Hiking boots or shoes are recommended as you will be travelling through "mushy spots".
The time frame for this excursion is approximately 5.5 hours from cruise dock to cruise dock, BUT we will customize to meet your requirements.
This Private Pre-BookeD tour is fully narrated by your guide and will take an estimated 5.5 hours (+/-) to complete.
