Itinerary
Day 1 We will arrival in Bangor, ME for an overnight stay. Dinner will be at a local restaurant.
Day 2 Begins by traveling to Waterbury, CT where we will be lodging overnight. Dinner is included tonight.
Day 3 Begins by traveling to New York City and checking into our hotel for a four night stay. We will have free time at South Street Seaport, a thriving community complete with a world-class maritime museum, breathtaking views and more than 100 shops, cafes and restaurants located on Lower Manhattan’s historic waterfront.
Next is a Guided Tour of New York City where our local guide will point out the famous sites of the “Big Apple.” Dinner tonight will be in Chinatown.
Day 4 Begins with a tour of the Guggenheim Museum displaying a collection of Modern and Contemporary International Art. The afternoon will be free for shopping on Fifth Avenue with such stores as Saks Fifth Avenue, and Macy’s.
Next, we will visit the Top of the Rock Observation Deck located at Rockefeller Center and see a fabulous view of the city. Dinner tonight will be at Rockefeller Center.
Day 5 Begins with a Guided Tour of the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens featuring the Seasonal Highlights of the Gardens followed by a Gourmet Lunch.
Next, we will enjoy an afternoon in Times Square where you will be free to do a little shopping or take in the sights. Dinner tonight will be at Carmine’s Restaurant where you will enjoy wonderful Italian food served in abundant portions. After dinner, we will head to the Empire State Building Observation Deck and see how the city lights up at night.
Day 6 Begins with a three-hour sightseeing cruise where you will discover the secrets of the city. We will circle Manhattan Island and see it all - 3 rivers, 7 major bridges, 5 boroughs, over 25 world renowned landmarks and, of course, a magnificent close-up of the Statue of Liberty. The afternoon will be free for you to shop or take in some more sightseeing.
Dinner tonight will be at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co before heading to a Broadway Show.
Day 7 We will travel to Natick, MA where we will lodge overnight. We will spend the afternoon at the Natick Mall, the largest mall in New England. Offering 270 of the finest retail stores and restaurants, including the first Nordstrom in Massachusetts, the area’s only suburban Neiman Marcus, along with JC Penney, Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, and Sears. Dinner is included tonight.
Day 8 We will return to Bangor, ME where will lodge overnight. The afternoon will be free for shopping, sightseeing or a trip to the casino. Dinner tonight will be at a local restaurant.
Day 9 We will depart for home.
